Lance’s passion for music started as a young boy, and it eventually led him to launch his online radio show at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU, formerly Ryerson), “The Hard Stuff,” which was later adapted into an online series. The show spotlighted Toronto’s vibrant DIY and hardcore punk communities. This, along with playing in bands in the early 2010s, earned Lance a reputation as a dynamic performer and writer in the music industry.
In 2015, Lance and his wife moved to the UK, where he worked for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services while continuing to create and coordinate content for V13. Returning to Canada in 2020, he was promoted to Director of Communications for V13 Media in 2022.
Lance’s work as a music and entertainment writer has been featured in various digital and print publications, including hundreds of articles for V13, where he has interviewed some of the biggest names in the industry. He has also contributed as an editor and writer for the TMU publication, “The Continuist,” and written a foreword for the book “Toronto DIY: (2008-2013).”
Lance’s experience in the music industry, combined with his impeccable writing skills, has made him an indispensable asset to V13.
