Chris is a seasoned Publisher and Editor with over 20 years of experience in tech and entertainment. He formerly served as BlackBerry’s Global Music Manager, launching its digital music store in 17 countries. He later worked at Tucows Inc. as a North American Account Manager, supporting major partners like Shopify and Squarespace.
Chris also oversees V13.net (formerly PureGrainAudio), one of Canada’s leading culture and entertainment sites, where he’s published over 100,000 articles and led teams of up to 100 writers and photographers. Now based in Vancouver, he continues to champion media, music, and digital culture.
Lance is the Director of Communications for V13 Media and the author of Build Your Foundation: Master Your Mindset, Brand, and Career Strategy in the Music Industry and the novel The Cherale.
A passionate music writer and performer, he began his career hosting The Hard Stuff, a radio show turned web series spotlighting Toronto’s DIY punk scene. His work has appeared in numerous publications, including V13, where he’s interviewed top artists and shaped editorial content.
Lance’s deep industry insight and dedication to artist development continue to drive V13’s creative and promotional efforts.

Jay Lang is an extraordinarily prolific writer, having crafted an impressive 13 novels in a mere 4 years. Her journey into writing began when she fearlessly ventured into a University education in 2019, where her passion for learning ignited. Thanks in part to the seclusion of the pandemic, Jay has emerged from that period an author published many times over.

Erin Browne is a marketing professional with a strong foundation in business and a passion for the entertainment industry. A graduate of Sheridan College’s Business program, she also earned certificates in Music Business from Humber College and Digital Marketing Management from the University of Toronto. Erin brings hands-on experience in social media strategy, SEM, content creation, and media outreach. Her versatile skill set—spanning PR, artist management, and digital marketing—makes her a
valuable asset to the V13 Promotions team.
